Visit our unique facilities on November 4th, 2004
The ElectroMagnetics Competence center would like to invite
customers and colleagues to see our unique facilities. You are most
welcome on November 4th, 2004. However, in order to accommodate you
properly and to have time for some discussion and questions, we plan
to limit the amount of visitors present in the building at any
particular time. To achieve a nice spread of visitors over the day,
we ask you to register in advance and indicate your preference for
an arrival timeslot.

EMC Europe 2004 - International Symposium on
Electromagnetic Compatibility
September 6-10, 2004

The 6th International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility
offers researchers from academia, industry and government the
possibility to present the progress in their research in and to
discuss all aspects of EMC in a challenging academic environment.
The International Steering Committee assigned the 2004 edition to
Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Visit largest newly built European EMC test facilities in
years
The new building for the Philips EMC centre at the High Tech
Campus Eindhoven has been completed. For a limited number of
participants to the EMC Europe 2004 the possibility exists to visit
our new state of the art facilities. Finding under one roof: current
and near future measurement facilities in accordance to the latest
standards. Registration is possible at the "Visitors Registration
Desk of the congress buro" on Tuesday till Wednesday 15:00 hours).
Excursion: Tuesday September 9th
Departure TUE: 17:00 hours by bus
Return: 19:30 hours
The number of participants is limited to 60.
Allotment: first come – first serve basis

Opening building ElectroMagnetics and Cooling Competence
Center
Eindhoven, The Netherlands - On September 3rd, 2004, Philips
Research' director Mr. Rick Harwig opened the new building of
ElectroMagnetics Competence center at the High Tech Campus
Eindhoven. This competence center is unique in Europe because of the
combination of technologically state-of-the-art facilities and broad
expertise of the staff members. Both Philips departments and
non-Philips companies can make use of these facilities for research
and product approbation measurements, as well as practical solutions
for products to comply with the demands for electromagnetic and
thermal behavior.
