- Singapore-based companies can tap Philips’ innovation
eco system to enhance enterprise capabilities & drive new
business creation
Singapore – Philips Applied Technologies and New
Business Development Academy Asia (NBDA) announced today their
new partnership to help Singapore-based companies enhance their
enterprise capabilities and drive new business creation. NBDA is
now the first industry partner based in Philips InnoHub. The
NBDA Singapore office is also the first in the region and will
serve as the company’s regional headquarters. Managed by Philips
Applied Technologies, Philips InnoHub will, through this
partnership, extend its support to help Singapore-based
companies translate ideas to business and to drive innovation.

The partnership between Philips Applied Technologies and NBDA
is founded on the need for a one-stop innovation support centre
in Singapore. This partnership will build on the synergy between
the various experts working together to help companies see
results from their innovation efforts. Companies looking to
improve their innovation capabilities can now tap on various
programs offered by Philips Applied Technologies and NBDA to
enhance their enterprise capabilities and to drive innovation
and new business creation.
Officiating at the partnership announcement event, Mr Philip

NBDA has been very successful in helping companies in Europe
through its Master Classes. A special Master Class coach and an
industry expert assist companies to find the right solutions to
implement. NBDA is affiliated to the American Product
Development Management Association (PDMA) and offers PDMA
certification as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP).

Philips Applied Technologies recently expanded its InnoHub
facilities which now include an innovation workshop space, a
home simulator, as well as a new retail and healthcare
simulators. Together, these provide a platform to create, review

environment. The concept of InnoHub has been defined to enhance
innovation processes by bringing partners together in an open
innovation setting.
