History

Industry Consulting has its roots in the former Philips Centrum voor Fabricage Technieken (CFT), founded in 1968.

Ever since, our consultants have supported the Philips product divisions and gained extensive experience in many aspects of the product creation, industrialization and business realization processes.

Typically building on experienced people joining the group coming from various businesses. Using these experiences to achieve cross learning by sharing best practices and translating them into practical approaches.

Despite several reorganizations the group has always kept a size of over 50 consultants, to ensure a sustainable competence level and size to react flexible to customer requests. Although originally focusing on the Philips product divisions, we have over the years achieved considerable experience working for customers outside the Philips organizations. We have learned that although these businesses may have considerable differences, the issues often correspond. Learning from experience from others is much faster and more effective than finding your own way.

Since we strongly believe in learning from others we have joined forces with Conclusion since 2005. In Conclusion Consulting Industry we combine our experience with their complementary consulting skills, network and in-depth market knowledge of industries outside the Philips orbit.
